Family Learning Sessions: Internet
Technologies
Held every fortnight from
11:00am - 2:00pm
Certain people are being left behind in the digital economy due to
a lack of access to technology. Our Broadband Programme works to achieve
digital equality in under served areas to benefit families without an
Internet enabled computer.
In partnership with Hampstead School we support both adults and children
to balance the demands of the constantly changing Internet environment,
by nourishing your digital talent.
Our Family Learning Sessions give children, adults and families the
opportunity to be coached and supported using new and emerging technologies
from Microsoft & Cisco Systems.
At the sessions we explore age specific issues (5 years old and upwards),
suitable courses and look at the interests of black and minority ethnic
groups. There is also an opportunity to obtain practical advice and
get some hands-on experience using our Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN)
of laptops.
The fortnightly sessions are held at our offices, Unit 24, Tavern Quay
Commercial Centre, Rope Street, London SE16 7TX on Saturdays, from 11:00am
to 2:00pm.
The programme is free of charge, and if you would like to join, please
contact Colin Thomas, Mondays to Fridays between 7pm and 9pm on 07932
686861. Alternatively email learning@100bmol.org.uk
for details of the next series of sessions.
