So the two main parties are only a few percentage points apart in the polls and the Marginals are, well, marginal. If every Black and Ethnic Minority eligible voter were to actually cast his or her vote, this election would be decided by us. So we ask you: How Powerful is the Black Vote?

And so it's over! The first World Cup held on the African Continent.
Pre-tournament speculation of unfinished stadia, rampant crime and general disorganisation proved wide of the mark. But how was the tournament for you and your team? Were Ghana robbed? Did the South Africa Bafana Bafana boys do their country justice? And (as we asked with our June Poll of the Month) Will an African team ever win the World Cup? Did you love or hate the Vuvuzela?

Should we follow the example of our American cousins and stop referring to ourselves as 'Black'? Would we be better to describe ourselves as "British African-Caribbeans"? Does it matter at all? Would a change in the way we refer to ourselves represent a break from the slavery and colonialism of the past or is it an empty gesture? Does the term 'Black' have any meaning or importance at all in the modern world?

Which is the better family unit for bringing up children? The single parent or two parent family unit. Does it make a difference? Do single mothers get enough credit for their efforts? Is it better to stay together for the sake of the children?

Why do Black Men date and marry White Women? Statistics suggest that possibly 50% of Black Men born in the UK now date or marry White Women. This is a higher proportion than for any other ethnic group. Does this matter? Should colour or ethnicity have any relevance in matters of the heart? Do you celebrate the mixing of the races or would you rather we kept separate? Does it matter that more and more Black Men are now dating and marrying White Men?

The 100 Black Men of London is 10 years old in April 2011, and in that time has delivered high impact and qualitative programmes and events for the benefit of our community.
