Channel 63 is a facility that lets you read or tell us about a piece of good and positive black news to counter the disturbing focus of the national media on overwhelmingly negative stories about the black community.
The number 63 represents the year in which the 100 Black Men movement started in America. A great piece of good news for people of African and Caribbean descent all over the world.
You can contribute
Tell us something positive on a black issue so we can share it with others and let us be the bearers of our own good news.
There is no restriction on the type of submission you can make. It could be as personal as letting us know that your daughter just passed all her exams or as broad as a story about a successful international achievement by an African country.
Your entry should be positive and focused on an issue of interest to the black community and must be no longer than 150 words.
Your proposed entry will be reviewed and if appropriate uploaded within 72 hours if not sooner.
