The Family Day programme is dedicated to the celebration of the family.
We believe that the promotion of the family and of the kind of family values that are naturally present within our communities is a large part of the solution to many of the problems facing our children today.
This programme arose as a direct result of the success of our Quality Time programme, with mothers and the female volunteers in our organisation demanding a similar event at which the entire family could attend.
Family Roles and Responsibilities is also a particularly important topic within our Community Mentoring Programme.
Now the Family Day programme consists primarily of a Fun Day held at a venue within London with lots of entertainment, sports and activities for the family to enjoy, from face painting to story-telling to tug of war. Food and drink of course features heavily as everyone comes to have a fun filled day, checking all problems and negativity at the door.
